What business sectors are you most interested in?
I see huge opportunities for vertical SaaS companies addressing largely untapped markets that still have a lot to gain from modern SaaS. These verticals include transportation, construction, hospitality and real estate.
What qualities do you most admire in other people?
Honesty is one of the most important characteristics. It’s refreshing to meet a founder that is brutally honest and not afraid to tell you about their challenges and weaknesses. As an investor we will eventually discover these things for ourselves. But knowing what we’re up against upfront allow us to work together, bringing my experience and knowledge to the table to find a solution together. This honesty also builds a strong foundation of trust for our relationship.
What’s the best piece of business advice you have ever been given?
You must have a plan. Not planning for the future is resigning your fate to chance.
