Gareth is a Partner in the European investment team, based in London. His focus is early stage technology investments in the UK and Europe, and he is interested in a broad range of sectors across B2B and B2C.

He started his venture career in 2015 at VC firm Northzone, initially in London and then in New York City. Four of the investments he made during the six years at the firm went on to become billion-dollar companies, including the likes of fuboTV and Thirty Madison. Gareth has spent much of his investing career in fintech, as well as media and infrastructure, across a mix of consumer, business and B2B2C. Prior to a career in venture, he spent several years in consultancy after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a MA in Economics.

A family history in aviation has meant a lot of travel — 40+ countries and counting — and it’s on these trips where he likes to do most of his reading, mainly non-fiction and particularly psychology and philosophy. However, his happy place is in his local fields in north London with his wife and their rescue dog Daphne.
