Shunyam is an Analyst on RTP Global’s Asia investment team, based in the firm’s Bangalore office. She focuses on early-stage investments in the India and Southeast Asia markets.

Before joining RTP Global, Shunyam worked in the Product & Growth team at CRED, where she looked after new user adoption, cross-sell, churned user reactivation across multiple consumer payment products and also worked on the GTM of CRED’s first UPI offering – Scan and Pay. Having been an operator, she is excited by the 0-1, 1-10 journey of startups. Prior to joining CRED, she spent her summers working with FamPay – a neobank for teenagers and their family, where she first fell in love with startups and all things FinTech and Consumer Tech.

Shunyam graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Gargi College, University of Delhi, where she headed ENACTUS, a chapter of the global Social Entrepreneurship organization leading 4 projects and impacting 3000+ beneficiaries across India. Clarity of thought and conviction in oneself is a quality she admires and strives towards even in her personal life. Outside of work, she writes from time to time on her substack pondering over startups, economics or life.
