The future of fashion sourcing is faster, leaner, and more global than ever—and ZYOD is leading the charge.
The Gurugram-based B2B fashion sourcing and manufacturing platform has just raised $18 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Alteria Capital, Stride Ventures, Stride One, and Trifecta Capital.
This marks ZYOD’s second funding round in just 15 months—after raising a $3.5 million seed round in April 2023—proving that investors are doubling down on its vision to make fashion sourcing seamless, scalable, and borderless.
Why ZYOD? Because Traditional Fashion Sourcing is Broken
Sourcing and manufacturing in fashion has long been an industry bottleneck—minimum order quantities are too high, lead times are too long, and the entire process is riddled with inefficiencies.
ZYOD flips the script. Co-founders Ankit Jaipuria and Ritesh Khandelwal built ZYOD to help brands – from emerging startups to retail giants – design, source, and manufacture apparel with unprecedented speed and flexibility.
“Our goal is to make fashion sourcing as easy as ordering online. Brands should be able to launch and scale without getting bogged down by supply chain hurdles,” said Ankit Jaipuria, co-founder of ZYOD.
And it’s working. ZYOD already partners with major Indian players like Reliance, Aditya Birla, Rare Rabbit, and FirstCry, and it’s planning to double its customer base while rolling out 100,000 unique designs every month.
How will ZYOD use this new funding?
With fresh capital, the company plans to:
- Expand to 40 countries (up from 18 today)
- Enhance its technology for even faster turnaround times
- Scale its team to support its growing global footprint
Speaking about the round, Nishit Garg, Partner at RTP Global said: “ZYOD is transforming the way fashion brands and retailers source and manufacture products. By lowering minimum order quantities and slashing lead times, they’re making fashion more agile and accessible.”
With 80% of its future business expected to come from overseas markets, ZYOD is on track to become a global leader in on-demand fashion manufacturing. And we’re excited to partner with them on this journey.
