Warmly set to transform SMB sales

In the rapidly evolving world of sales tech, one startup is emerging as a standout player: Warmly. The AI-powered pipeline acceleration platform has just raised $6 million in a Series A+ round, bringing its total Series A funding to $17 million after its initial $11 million raise in late 2023. Led by RTP Global, and with continued support from Felicis and NFX, this fresh infusion of capital sets Warmly up for even more aggressive expansion and innovation.

Warmly’s platform is on a mission to redefine how B2B sales teams build and manage their pipelines – particularly for SMBs. By leveraging a combination of first-party and third-party intent signals, the platform enables sales teams to engage prospects with far greater precision, ensuring that outreach is both timely and personalized.

This means no more cold calling or generic outreach; Warmly’s AI helps sales teams strike when prospects are most likely to convert.

From zero to $3M ARR in just one year

What impressed us about Warmly? Well, its growth trajectory speaks volumes. In just one year, the company tripled its annual recurring revenue to $3 million, now serving over 300 customers. That’s a remarkable accomplishment in any industry, but especially in the competitive B2B space.

Among the company’s growing roster of customers are notable B2B software firms such as New Relic, Cyberhaven, and CircleCI, all of which rely on Warmly’s platform to build stronger, data-driven sales pipelines.

“More SMBs are waking up to the fact that cold B2B sales outreach isn’t working, and world-class data makes warmer outreach possible,” said Maximus Greenwald, CEO and co-founder of Warmly. “We’ve seen firsthand how targeted, data-driven outreach can bring in millions of dollars in new revenue for our customers.”

Unique differentiation: individual intent signals

What sets Warmly apart from other players in the crowded AI sales space is its focus on individual-level intent signals. Where many competitors focus on company-level intent signals, Warmly dives deeper into individual-level intent, providing insights that are more actionable for sales teams. This granular data allows for more personalized and relevant outreach, particularly as companies increasingly struggle to fill their sales pipelines in the face of tighter budgets and layoffs.

Warmly also stands apart by offering unlimited seats on its platform. This is a big win for customers, who are able to scale their outreach efforts without worrying about adding new user licenses or hitting capacity limits.

Scaling to meet demand

The new capital will fuel Warmly’s next phase of growth, particularly its European expansion. The company plans to double its European team to 20 employees, with a global headcount target of 50. This will support Warmly’s growing customer base while also enabling it to accelerate product development.

In the coming months, expect to see new features on the platform, including more advanced data quality functionalities. These will allow customers to fine-tune the types of leads they want to engage with, further enhancing the precision of their sales efforts. AI will also play an increasingly central role as the company continues to push toward its long-term vision of empowering sales teams to command fleets of AI agents that can generate and qualify leads at scale.

Why RTP Global is all-in

We can see Warmly’s potential to transform the sales landscape. Orson Stadler, Principal at RTP Global, added, “In today’s climate of budget cuts and layoffs, many companies are facing a decline in inbound leads. Warmly’s platform is uniquely positioned to help sales and marketing teams overcome these challenges by providing more targeted, data-driven outreach. It’s no surprise to see such rapid customer adoption, and we’re excited to continue supporting Warmly as they scale.”

Looking ahead, Warmly’s ambition is clear: tripling its ARR again in 2025 while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and renewals. With a fresh injection of capital, an expanded team, and a solid product roadmap packed with new features, it seems likely the company is just getting started.

In a world where sales outreach is often cold and impersonal, Warmly is certainly bringing the heat.
